I had the best experience at Thompson Hyundai. My car needed a big repair. Corey and the service team did an amazing job! They took care of alot of things so I didn't have to worry about anything. I have been going there for a long time and always come out satisfied. They explain everything that is happening and the easiest way to fix it. They really do care about their customers. Definitely recommend this dealership and service department.

Not going to lie, I am very leery about trusting people at shops, (especially Dundalk). However, I have to admit in full entirety; they came through. Pictured is my 11' Sonata 2.0T, which is in "near" mint condition. I baby this car, even when I drive it and maintain it. I had a sudden engine lockup after hitting the brakes hard and took it in for the extended warranty replacement. I had VERY little hope at all, but Hyundai called me a week in after eval and said that it was approved, and they would be replacing my engine the following day. The Tech's kept me informed, suggested all the right maintenance, and I added the trans service (since the engine was being done, why TH not). they were clear and communicative during the process. When I got the car back, I drove it first for a week, gently, then drove all the way to Chicago and back with absolutely not a single problem. the work they do it true and thorough, I would HIGHLY recommend them. "Keeping in mind, this is a dealer, you will pay dealer prices - this did not matter to me, I needed the job done right".

He will sit there an make sure you understand the problem and tell you in detail what was done . He even explained things I didn't know before and how long it was truthfully gonna take!! Thomson Hyundai in general and Mitch Sandler in particular were great to deal with to complete my purchase of a 2024 Hyundai Tucson. Chris Bowen was amazing! I was waiting for the new 2024 Santa Fe since February and she finally came in yesterday. Purchased a 2023 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Blue. The process was fast and efficient. All total including test drive we were in an out in under 3 hours. Sam, the salesman did an excellent job explaining everything on the car. When it came time to sign the paperwork, no one was pushy trying to sell extra add ons. All and all a great experience. I would buy from them again.

Update: The GM and DM fixed the issue in their end which aloud me to get my car in for the warranty work. I believe the DM also pushed to get my car in sooner because the last time I talked to my local dealer they were booked out until November. Work was complete today. I would not buy a car here. I live in Tennessee and this dealership inputted someone’s VIN wrong on a recall. I have been having issues with my blinkers where they will blink the opposite way that I select. I saw there was a recall so I called my local dealership here and they informed me that the recall was already done. I knew this was not true since my car has been out of warranty and has not been to a dealership since 2019. I called their corporate office and they informed me the recall was done in February of 2022 at this dealership. My car was in my driveway in Tennessee in February of 2022 so this is not even possible. If they can’t properly check a VIN number then I surely wouldnt trust anything else this dealership does.
